Ambassador Sarah Butler

Ambassador Sarah Butler is a Senior at Marysville Pilchuck High School. She is the Spanish club President and has earned a varsity letter 4 times while on the swim team. Along with her varsity letters she has received the MPHS Leadership award, & Scholastic Writing Award. Being on the swim team has taught her what commitment  and team work is really all about. She tries to pass this on by being a volunteer swim coach with the Hatchetfish swim team.

Sarah’s hobbies include biking, skiing, cake decorating, chocolate making & beading. She has taken 1st place several times in her division for cake decorating at the Washington State Sugar Artists competition, has ridden in the Seattle to Portland Bike ride, teaches at vacation bible school, made and sent baby blankets to Papua, New Guinea, is a host to Australian exchange students and volunteers to on the “You gotta love this place” clean up crew at the high school.

Her favorite subject in school is Spanish because she gets to speak another language and learn about another culture. Sarah will be attending Washington State University to study for her career as a computer programmer and become the next Bill Gates, but her REAL dream job is to work for Disney, “the happiest place on earth”. In the meantime Sarah is employed at Dawn’s candy and cake.

Sarah is the daughter of Jeanne and Mark Butler and has one sister Alyssa.
