Maryfest is proud to be a member of the Northwest Festival Hosting Association an organization made up of eleven festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Maryfest joined this close knit group in 2001 whose operating philosophy is to work together and commit to supporting each other by sending a delegation to each members festival. By being a part of Northwest Festivals, Marysville can rely on the participation of at least 10 other community floats/festivals in our Grand Parade.

A hosting package is offered at each community's festival which generally includes accommodations, receptions, a formal or semi-formal dinner, entertainment, a rose planting ceremony performed by the Portland Royal Rosarians and a farewell breakfast on Sunday morning. Of course, the members are also participating in the Grand Parade!

Our membership consists of the following (with the 2010-2011 presidents):

Wenatchee, Washington - Washington State Apple Blossom Festival (2010-2011 Director General Tom Robbins, 2010-2011 Chancellor Don Gurnard of the Wenatchee Applarians)

Spokane, Washington - Lilac Festival (2010-2011 President Arne Weinman)

New Westminster, British Columbia - Hyack Festival (2010-2011 President Marlene Higgins)

Portland, Oregon - Royal Rosarians (2010-2011 Prime Minister Sue Klobertanz)

Marysville, Washington - Strawberry Festival (2010-2011 President Angie Miller)

Olympia, Washington - Capital Lakefair (2010-2011 President Bob Barnes)

Seattle, Washington - Seafair (2010-2011 Commandant John Andor)

Astoria, Oregon - Astoria Regatta (2010-2011 President Dan Arnoth)
