Why you decided to compete for the Royalty Court? I had heard from previous Marysville Royal Ambassador, Julianne Mack that she was involved and had a great time meeting new people throughout the Puget Sound.

What do you expect from this year as a Royalty Representative? I expect to add more publicity for the Strawberry Festival Pageant for both boys and girls. I would also like to help people of all ages in creating a positive self image. I also expect to meet new friends and have a blast with my two ambassadors as well as the Maryfest Board.

Ever attended the Strawberry Festival?  YES!!

If so, what is your favorite memory of the Festival? Was seeing the Seafair Pirates because they were always so real. I also enjoyed the carnival and eating lots of strawberries, as well as seeing all of the marching bands.

Who is your role model? My Mom!

Why? My mom is the only person who I can confide in for my every need. She is always willing to lay down her life for the family and I. She lightens every day with her humor and joy! I love you mom, you have taught me that so many aspects of life our lives are blessed and irreplaceable.

Future plans  - I plan on attending the University of Washington to study Medicine to then
practice in the field of pediatrics, surgery or a mortician. I haven't yet decided.

Your advice for future Royalty Candidates - Number 1 - Be confident in yourself! With this in mind there are many young girls who will look up to you and want to be like you.
Number 2 - Be loving and gracious in every circumstance!
Number 3 - Be patient, because there will be a lot of hurry up and wait!
Number 4- Enjoy every moment and flirt with the audience...they love it!
